Carson's senior session started out like most regular senior shoots. At his consultation, he was pretty much open minded, didn't have any specific requests except to include his car. Carson is actually into racing, but he just wanted a simple shoot that incorporated his car maybe with the Charlotte skyline.
Before that though, we made sure to get some regular senior shots. We headed to Camp North End, because based on what he told me about his style and personality, I felt like that may be a good option for him. He kept his style simple and classy. Honestly if you're ever not sure what to wear for your senior shoot, you absolutely can't go wrong with a white button up shirt and jeans.
One of the only requests he and his mom had was to get a shot of him with his car. Carson happens to be into racing. He spends a lot of his spare time at the track, so it was important to incorporate that into his senior session.
Unfortunately, when he went to put his stuff in his car to move it for some cool city shots... he accidentally locked his keys in the trunk. Along with his clothes. And we had about 30 minutes before sunset. Insert slight panic mode. Lol Thankfully AAA pulled through and came to the rescue. In the meantime, to help reset emotions and stress, Abby and I took Carson to grab a snack. We finally got some incredible Blue Barn fries (RIP, they're now gone and we're sad). It was the perfect break to just sit, chat, and regroup. Once AAA saved the day, we moved on to get those shots his mom wanted. It may have been a bit darker than what they had in mind, but they still looked pretty dang awesome. Everyone was happy, and now we can laugh about the whole thing. LOL
Carson definitely gave me one of my most eventful senior photoshoots, and honestly it was pretty fun. haha Check out the video I made for instagram to see the behind the scenes crazy. ;)
You were awesome, Carson!
