I love when my clients choose a location for their senior photos that has some meaning for them. It just makes the photos extra special for me, plus it's usually a new place that I get to explore and allows me to come up with new ideas. In Becca's case, it was her family farm just outside of Concord. It's a beautifully renovated home with open fields, garden, small barn, and gorgeous pond.
Becca was a DREAM to photograph. She has the best style, and her outfits mostly consisted of Anthropologie pieces, which is a top favorite for my own closet. But beyond the awesome clothing, she has a relaxed, earthy vibe that makes her calming to be around. Which is great for me, because I work best when I'm not stressed or feeling major pressure. She was up for whatever ideas I had and just let me do my thing.
Becca's one request was to join the rest of my 2021 water obsessed seniors and use the pond on their family farm for some water portraits. These ended up being some of my favorite water photos that year, specifically because they stood out as different for me. The fall colors were gorgeous in the background, and she did a great job pretending not to be nervous about snakes and other critters we could've potentially run into. Lol
