What I love the most about my job is meeting all kinds of different people and working with teens of all personalities and styles. Some are more outgoing and vibrant, others are more edgy and chill. Then I meet seniors like Caitlin who are just very easy going and natural. She's comfortable and confident in her own skin. The friends she hangs out with are the ones that are closest to her.
So obviously we needed a location that would highlight her easy going, cool personality and natural beauty.
If you weren't already aware, I include enough time during each Wildflower Senior Experience to grab a few family photos. For a lot of my clients that come to me, the last time they had a professional family photo taken was when the kids were tiny. So this is my way of helping families update that family portrait before their senior heads off to adulthood.
Upcoming seniors reading this, don't panic. Your dad and baby brother don't have to tag along for the entire shoot and stare at you as you model for the camera. lol These often take about 20 minutes, then whoever would like to move on with their day can head out as we focus the rest of the session on you.
One of my favorite things ever is when my seniors want to include something special to them, especially their car. It may seem trivial right now, but in 20 years, they're going to look back on these photos with their families and show them what their first car looked like. I've done it with my own, and it's just really special. Caitlin has an awesome Jeep that we absolutely had to include in her shoot!
Caitlin's Wildflower Senior Experience was so much fun, and she's seriously such a cool girl.
Also, stay tuned for spring. Because we have something pretty incredible planned. ;)
