Megan is seriously one of the kindest, warmest people I've ever met. I met her thanks to Renee turning 16 where we all bonded over our love of animals. ;) Over the last couple of years, I've had more time to get to know her... lots of game nights, photoshoots, and Nutcracker performances. Even after all that time, it was crazy to believe we were already at senior year!!
I met her at Megan Oliveri's studio for hair and makeup. Megan O is so great at giving my more natural girls a barely-there look for makeup. Megan is already such a natural beauty and prefers to keep things very simple. I wanted her to remain that way but also get her "camera ready". Plus it's just fun way to start the whole senior experience!
Megan wanted to begin her senior experience at a big field for a more natural vibe. She looks gorgeous in pretty much everything, but earth tones are definitely so gorgeous on her. That burnt orange top was perfect! She brought her denim jacket she found thrifting, which was super cute. Her second outfit was a simple but beautiful black maxi dress. I'm such a big fan of maxi dresses, since they give you great movement and posing options.
Next we headed to Uptown Charlotte for a very different feel to Megan's Senior Experience. I love Uptown Charlotte for senior shoots. It brings such a fun, sophisticated type feel to a session. She chose two outfits for this location... an adorable mini with a cardigan top and a beautiful blue top with black pants... both super cute. Brad drove us down there, and we ran into some traffic. Instead of waiting, Megan and I hopped out of the car to get moving on the photos, and Brad caught up with us later. Thanks to the traffic, we grabbed a few on the streets around uptown before heading to Romare Bearden park.
I think my favorites from these are the ones where the lights in the sidewalks started to glow. They looked like little fireflies dancing around her. :)
