I love a senior that's got a little bit of a rebellious side to them (as her mom proudly put it haha). Cayleigh showed up to her consultation in pjs and hoodie and explained that she wanted something less traditional. She's spunky, goofy, and the absolute cutest. I knew she needed a place with lots of color and interesting elements to support her personality. I wanted her to feel pretty yet seen as a person. So I steered them to my home away from home, Camp North End.
Can we take a second to just talk about how amazing Cayleigh's outfits were for her senior session?? This is why a consultation is SO important and why I encourage it for every single senior of mine. We go over their personal style, what will look good with the preferred locations, etc. Cayleigh absolutely nailed her looks for Camp North End!!
So fun story... this session happened to take place on the Day of the Dead Festival, which we were not aware of. LOL When I tell you I have never ever seen that many people there, I'm not joking. It took us 20 minutes to find a place to park and then find each other. IT WAS INSANE. So for anyone worried about crowds or people... while I can't always make it look like we're the only ones there especially in a city environment... I do my best and try to make sure my senior is the main focus of every shot.
We got one of the most gorgeous sunsets and the NEW parking deck is finally open!! Look how beautiful that light is up there. We finished the evening off with some beautiful skyline photos. Hearing how much she and her mom loved the images from the day was the best ever.
