Like many of my senior guys, Andrew was perfectly sweet, obviously handsome, and totally there because mom asked him to be. hahaha
For real tho, he's a great guy and we had a good time. He preferred to keep his senior session short and sweet, so we stuck with one location at Camp North End and just a couple of outfits. Pro tip: I don't normally recommend this color as it often washes people out a bit. But if you're lucky enough to have skin like Andrew, go for it!
I've had plenty of clients be concerned about cloud cover. While I totally get the appeal of sunshine, pretty back light, and the occasional sun flare; an overcast day can actually be super flattering. The clouds act as a natural filter, keeping the light nice and even no matter where you stand.
For all the moms out there worried their senior son isn't going to open up enough or will hate the whole process, I promise I do my best to get these guys to ease up a bit and have a little fun with it. I'd say a good 75% of my guys end up relaxed and throwing me their own poses about halfway through the session. ;) My favorite was that we actually came back to do a session for his family a few days later, and you can see the obvious confidence he had with me compared to his siblings.
As we were headed out, I saw the owners over at BLK Mrkt around one of the fire pits. They were so kind and cool to help stoke the fire for some awesome photos.
